Thanksgiving Meal

My mom always likes to cook for 20 people...
at the end.. we had so many left overs.. in the last picture.. we were just waiting for the Turkey..
What our mom & brother cooked:

1. beans

8. Garlic Butter Shrimp

All for just 5 people..

Echigo sushi restaurant

My brother took us here for my parents 44th anniversary..

This spot was kinda like a spot back home in hawaii.. but without the screaming and kicking you out if you dont like what the chef makes for you.
The owner makes the dishes for you..
I dont usually eat that much fish.. and my brother even said to him that im picky..
He seemed insulted.. and i felt bad.. but...hey! I didnt know i was coming here!
Anyway.. i went ahead and here are some of the dishes i tried...
1. Stuffed octopus
2.butterfish
3.toro
4.bluecrab roll

My favorite one was the Stuffed Octopus.. It was Delish!
Everything else was really good too.. just melted in your mouth!

I say must try.. Im glad I got to try this place.

Being that i'm from Hawaii, born and raised..seeing our Island Culture and Andy's brother Bruce Irons raise the Hawaiian flag after setting his brother free in the ocean along side with Andy's wife and unborn child....  Andy Irons, who was one of the best surfers of all time.. you brought me back to my roots..Watching this video makes me miss home and the people..  I am proud to be from Hawaii.
